Watch: Jim Banks, Bruno Santos & Tai Graham Score a Rarely Surfed Sumbawa Left

While Australia stares down the barrel of another lockdown, Indonesia just keeps pumping.

So, here we sit in Australia, much of the country on tenterhooks as we face the latest outbreak of Covid19. Some of us locked down already, and there will probably be more to come.

Meanwhile Mumma nature, oblivious to our struggles with a pesky virus, continues to do her thing, sending luscious lines of swell into Indonesia as she has done since long before the first human ever rode a wave. And for the second season in a row, Australian’s can only live vicariously as Indonesia continues to pump without them.

However, there are a lucky few who are managing to get amongst it. This includes Australian surfing legend Jim Banks, Bali based Tai Graham and Bruno Santos, who were on hand to score this session at a notoriously dangerous, and often empty lefthander on Sumbawa.

Dive in and live vicariously. It’s the next best thing to international travel.
