The main question we had after watching this savagery from JJF was, who the hell put John’s ACL back together? The thing looks bulletproof.
The other thing to note about this clip is the power John possesses. The amount of water he disperses with his Pyzels is mind-blowing. Combined with his progressive act, and his big wave acumen, it’s probably a safe bet to sat that John is currently the best surfer on the planet.
We can’t wait to see John pull on the singlet at the Pipe Masters and kick off his quest for title number three, and if this clip is a realistic representation of form, he is in with a good chance of walking away with the silverware at seasons end.
