Right now, John John Florence is nearing the end of his quarantine stint in Australia. Along with the rest of the tour, he will soon be set loose on the Australian east coast to get his sea legs back, before congregating in Newcastle over Easter for the first event in the Australian leg (and perhaps only leg) of the 2021 tour.
Before John packed his bags, boarded a flight and settled in for a fortnight of room service, he undertook some last-minute research and development on the North Shore. John had a quiver to dial in for Australia, and that wasn’t gonna happen while locked in a hotel room.
With a fun little swell running at a local sandbar, John joined Ross Williams and John Pyzel for the session, which you can watch above.
