Watch: John John Florence Tests His Knee at Air Camp with Brother Nathan

Looks like the 2x World Champ has got the pep back in his step.

Nathan Florence’s YouTube channel has given us viewers an unprecedented look at life on the North Shore. While it’s hard to look past his ridiculous POV clips from the lineup at giant Pipeline and Jaws, some of our favourite videos from Nathan have been from his ‘Air Camp’ series, in which a previously flightless Nathan set himself the goal of learning to fly above the lip.

His progress has been astounding and encouraging to watch. As demonstrated in this clip of Nathan and John lifting off on some summertime ramps at Rocky Point.

John’s knee is looking like it’s back in perfect working order, no? You wouldn’t be attempting to stick some of those rotations on a ginger hinge.
