On this raw, swell-exposed coast pros can ply their hit and spin trade in on onshore waves no one else wants to ride or take off late and deep on sections that few surfers can handle. Like Hawaii, WA challenges Pro Surfers and allows them to explore the full spectrum of their skill-set.
Backed by solid riffs and lots of sun-dappled lips, Josh Burke does a good job of selling WA as a pro-surfer’s paradise here – that is of course if you don’t mind dodging the sharks.
