Watch: Kai Hing in ‘Still Splashing’

Filmer, Shane Fletcher paints it black and unleashes the heavy tunes as Kai Hing duels with the foam ball inside gaping tunnels and launches astronaut punts with slick variations. The edit is dark with a hint of ‘disturbia’ as the camera occasionally goes schizophrenic through the swaying palms. Despite the Telos Island setting, it’s definitely not your clichéd tropical vibes clip, but you are left with a sense that something a little more artful has been accomplished. ‘Still Splashing’ plays like an ironic title, but the important thing is that by the end of six minutes you are still watching and hoping for more.
