Watch: Kai Neville and Mikey February Discuss the Making of Sonic Souvenirs

Insights from Mikey Feb and Kai on how they created a little slice of magic.

A couple of weeks back Vans premiered the first instalment in their Sonic Souvenirs series. It features Mikey February surfing up and down the coastline of Africa and celebrates not only the stylish natural footer’s surfing but also the unique art and music found in Africa (the first instalment was soundtracked by legendary African musician Madala Kunene).

The man charged with piecing it all together was the one-and-only Kai Neville, and we have to say he did an outstanding job. It was one of our favourite pieces of surf cinema that has been released for a long time. Here, Kai and Mikey deliver an insight into the making of the film with a director’s Q&A.
