Apparently, size does matter.
There’s been a quiet resurgence of bigger boards in surfing in recent times. Creed McTaggart has been toying with a few extra inches on his Dahlbergs, As has Shaun Manners with his father’s shapes. Gold Coast shaper Ben Webb has also been going a bit longer - Check filmer Jesse Little’s recent-ish Insta posts @jesselittlecreative to see what we’re talking about.
Now Mason Ho has joined the movement. Admittedly Mason has been riding longer boards than most at maxing Pipe for a while now, but it's unusual to see him step it up in regular surf.
Here Mason takes on Rocky Rights while riding a 6’6” Mayhem, and puts his extra rail line to good use.
