It has now been widely reported that Mick Fanning recently suffered an ACL injury that is going to require surgery and a long stint on the sidelines.
Prior to this bit of diabolically bad fortune, Mick had been in sublime touch in the water, including this quick strike mission to California, where he met up with Griffin Colapinto and Ethan Ewing for this session at Lowers.
As you can see the level of surfing on display was ridiculously high. One of Ethan Ewing’s waves in particular stands out. When are we gonna see that kid back on tour?
