We’ve made no secret of our love for the surfing of Mikey February. The guy just rides waves exactly how we love to see them ridden, and perhaps exactly how the waves themselves enjoy being ridden, could they communicate that to us.
Almost as alluring as the smooth lines of his surfing are the myriad different boards under his feet while he jives.
Here Mikey takes a Channel Islands Twin Pin to Indonesia and gives it a run at a ridiculously fun looking right-hander to fine-tune the board and succeed in bridging the gap between performance shortboard and thruster, which is ultimately the goal of the Twin Pin.
