Nothing motivates like being canned by a major sponsor
Sunshine Coast flyer, Reef Heazlewood, has been knocking on the door of the CT for several years now. In 2019 he blasted his way into the spotlight by winning the trials at the Quiksilver Pro Snapper Rocks and then picking up the scalp of Julian Wilson en route to a round four finish. He also ran second in the Redbull Airborne event, which ran in conjunction with the Quik Pro the same week.
Reef’s gently spoken disposition belies the fierce determination, which rumbles beneath. He’s wing-heeled and also packs more power than his lithe frame suggests. Hopefully, we get to see him fly the Oz flag on the CT sometime in the near future
