There’s a strong possibility that in years to come that ‘Surfing’ will be looked back upon as the start of a movement. A seminal flick that will inspire the next generation of young female shredders (and male shredders looking for some tips on style) onto bigger and better things. It’s somewhat astounding to realise that this hasn’t really been done before.
But here we are, finally. An all-girls surf flick starring Steph Gilmore, Nikki Van Dijk, Tyler Wright, Macy Callaghan and Dimity Stoyle, filmed and stitched together by Dan Scott. And we have to say, it’s great! Good tunes, awesome surfing, minimal chaff. We’re into it.
