Watch: The Colapinto Bros do West Oz

Bit of Box, bit of North Point & some BTS Comp Footage

If there’s one event on tour that you know the surfers enjoy, it’s the West Oz stop. Probably not so much for the competition itself, but for everything else that a trip to this part of Oz entails; big tubes, big landscape, big wildlife, big open spaces etc.

With the lens of the competition coverage focused squarely on Margies Main Break in 2021, it was unending torture wondering what was happening just across the channel at The Box, and also at places like North Point.

Thankfully with the rise of surfers starting their own YouTube channels to disperse their content, we tend to see a little more of what happens around each event. Here Griffin and Crosby Colapinto document their stay in West Oz, including sessions at The Box and North Point, including Griff’s horrific trip over the falls at the former.
