Watch: The Two Equally Impressive Sides of Yago Dora

One part mellow stylist, one part progressive aerialist.

It’s been a while since the fine water-dancing of Yago Dora has graced our eyeballs. Without the tour there to remind us, and 2020 pulling endless devilish tricks out of the bag, it’s scary how quickly pro surfers seem to disappear from the front of mind.

However, we are eternally grateful for this reminder of the prowess Yago Dora possesses while riding a surfboard. Filmed over a week in Southern Brazil, the clip starts out reasonably slow, with Yago showcasing his cruisy Machado-esque approach in a variety of fun looking Brazilian waves. But then the second half hits and we’re slapped in the face with a reminder that Yago rightfully sits at the coalface of progressive surfing.

Applause all round for Yago!
