When it comes to the wave-soaked Hawaiian Island of Oahu, there’s no denying that the North Shore is the most favoured among surfers but being an island there’s also a hell of a lot of surfable coastline sitting outside the spotlight’s glow that barely, if ever, gets a mention.
Here, Zeke Lau heads to the oft-forgotten East Side of Oahu for a couple of highly entertaining and fun looking sessions. It’s a fickle stretch that is dogged by onshore winds. However, if you don’t mind a crumbly lip and air winds, then it could be your nirvana.
We certainly wouldn’t mind a session there right now.
